Requirements:
Are eligible for federal Pell grants – your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) will determine this.
Earn a 2.0 GPA or higher – Priority deadline applicants need to meet this requirement with their junior year GPA. Final deadline applicants can meet it either with their junior year GPA or first semester senior year GPA.
Graduate as part of the Class of 2021 from a high school in the MATC district or live in the MATC district.
Eligible students can continue on to a four-year degree through:
Promise completion programs at Lakeland University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Bucky’s Tuition Promise
Guaranteed admission agreements with Marquette University, UW-Madison, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and over 30 more four-year partner colleges and universities
For high school graduates and adults.
DACA Plus Scholarships
Up to $1,000
To be eligible, a student must:
Be a new or continuing MATC student who has not received a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) scholarship in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021;
Be a non-U.S. citizen not eligible for financial aid because of DACA or undocumented status;
For a continuing student, have a GPA of 2.0 or higher;
MATC Latino Scholarship
$500
“Students must be enrolled in at least six (6) credits; Ethnicity must be Hispanic / Latino; Must have a demonstrated financial need as demonstrated by completion of Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA). Financial need requirement is waived for DACA students.”
MATC Teacher Education Track Scholarship
$500
“Must be enrolled and fully admitted into the Teacher Education Track program. Must have completed a minimum of 24 program credits. Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA required.”
