Home Schooler Helping Hand Scholarship
$500
“We’d like to honor the students who were home schooled for all, or a large part, of their education. Though some of the structure and landmarks of a typical education is foregone by these children, challenge and creativity remain. Self discipline and the willingness to master subjects become hallmarks in their education, despite what may be perceived as “too much freedom” by some. We’d like to honor our youngest son with this scholarship. We didn’t know where his curiosity would lead, – teacher, salesman, chef, philosopher; but the journey was always a joy.”
